The Oregon-Washington Boards continue with the ongoing development of a shared Engineering Geology Examination. A document titled "OSBGE Professional Practice Guidance" is now complete and soon to be adopted. The draft of "Geology Report Guidelines" was just completed and is ready for Board review. The Oregon Board is in a discussion phase with a continuing education requirement. The Board continues with outreach to the universities, other state agencies, and cities and counties. The quarterly newsletter has been published since 1999 and a July 2007 electronic distribution was received enthusiastically by recipients.
