Executive Director Position Announcement
The National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG) invites applications for the position of Executive Director, set to begin in July 2027.
The successful candidate will provide overall operational and strategic leadership, oversee the development and administration of national licensing examinations, manage organizational finances and compliance, and serve as the primary liaison to state regulatory member boards. A central responsibility will be guiding and executing ASBOG’s Strategic Plan, advancing organizational priorities focused on delivering world-class examinations, academic program alignment, expanding thought leadership, and enhancing licensure mobility.
ASBOG is guided by a collaborative Executive Committee and a dedicated network of Subject Matter Experts committed to maintaining the highest standards of world-class examinations for professional licensure and credentialing integrity. We seek an energetic leader with exceptional organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, dedicated to advancing professional geology, supporting member board needs, and strengthening partnerships across academia and industry.
